At 3:54 p.m., Kansas City Downtown Airport reported 78 degrees, partly cloudy skies, a southeast wind at 7 mph and 10 miles of visibility.

The National Weather Service’s 12:56 p.m. update calls for scattered sprinkles after 4 p.m., then scattered rain before 3 a.m. and a chance of showers and thunderstorms toward daybreak Monday. Tonight’s low is near 65; precipitation chance is 50 percent.

LAST NIGHT IN THE METRO

Saturday closed with three Kansas City scorelines: the Current and Seattle Reign drew 1–1 at CPKC Stadium, with Debinha equalizing from the penalty spot in the 51st minute; the Royals beat Detroit 3–1 for a seventh straight win; and the Chiefs fell 16–15 at Tampa Bay in preseason.
